On October 29, 2020, “Insidious 5” was announced at the Blumhouse first inaugural BlumFest. But, the series got delayed due to the pandemic rules. So, now that all the rules and guidelines have been demolished, we can expect the production to begin shortly.

As of now, there are a total of four films in this franchise. These are Insidious (2010), Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015), and Insidious: The Last Key (2018).
The franchise witnessed a massive success at the box office and grossed a total of $539 million worldwide on a combined budget of $26.5 million.
On 29th October 2020, it was confirmed that the production of the fifth sequel of this film will be started soon. Additionally, the upcoming film doesn’t have any title.
However, it is expected that Insidious 5 will surely come with a good story and perhaps it’ll be released on 2022 Halloween.
Insidious 5 plot?
No clue regarding the plot of the upcoming film has been officially announced by the makers. However, as per some sources, the upcoming film will arrive 10 years after the events of Insidious: Chapter 2, which will feature Dalton going off to college. Chapter 3 and The Last Key were both prequels. Expect past terrors to return to plague and haunt him in the fifth instalment.
The next movie in the Insidious franchise will explore what it does to a family after ten years. Questions that will be addresses include whether you are still being hypnotized if you’ve been for so long and how this changes your relationships with other people.
