Neal Street Productions’ Pippa Harris presents a new series that is bound to humor you throughout each of its half hour episodes. The series, ‘The Franchise’, will introduce its viewers to the superhero movie-making industry while showcasing insights to the reality of the blockbuster hits whose background is often less explored. It will center on a crew that destiny is not exactly in favor of, as they are continue to develop an unfavored franchise movie despite the pressure of withstanding the fame that the big shots in the industry receives. Reportedly starring Himesh Patel and Aya Cash, the series is gearing up for production by January next year. Known for his role as Jack Malik in Danny Boyle’s Yesterday, Himesh Patel is a talented actor/ musician that will most likely take on the lead role in the series. Supposedly Joining Himesh Patel on the center stage is Aya Cash, another popular actress who is known for her character portrayals in works such as ‘You’re the Worst’, ‘Scare Me’, ‘Wolf of the Wall Street’ and ‘Game Over, Man!’.

Neal Street Productions’ Sam Mendes will be joined by Armando Iannucci for the screenplay of the series. The two artists will also be co-producing the series. Neal Street Productions is known for several acclaimed entertainers such as ‘Revolutionary Road’ (directed by Sam Mendes), ‘Things We Lost in the Fire’ and ‘Empire of Light’ (another direction by Sam Mendes). The show will be run by Jon Brown an will most likely be shot in United Kingdom.
