Close Enough Season 3: Release Date
The first two seasons of Close Enough were a spectacular hit that aired on HBO Max. As for season 3, no particular release date has been announced by the production house. It was initially scheduled to premiere on TBS in 2017. However, the season was delayed and rescheduled multiple times before finally hitting the screens on HBO max. The second instalment of the series was released shortly after the first, which premiered on July 9, 2020.
While there was just a gap of seven months between season 1 and season 2, it’s 2022 already and we haven’t heard of a third renewal, as of now. Heck, will it even be renewed? We can’t really say. Though the fans are going berserk awaiting the release of the third instalment, the makers of the show haven’t still disclosed anything. They haven’t given any statement regarding the premiere. Besides, not even the star cast revealed anything: about them returning back or other updates.
The good news, however, is: the show will be renewed! Orders for the renewal of a third season have already been made. Nothing’s announced officially though. The first two seasons got amazing responses, growing an excellent fan base. Hence, it’s safe to assume season 3 won’t disappoint any of us.
Owing to the covid scenario, we reckon there might be a postponement in the release. Bearing everything in mind, we can expect Season 3 to be released this year or in 2023!
Close Enough Season 3: Cast
As we said, no official announcements have been made about the release date, the makers of the show have kept even the star cast under wraps. As of now, we do not know what potential faces we might get to see; which cast member will return or who wouldn’t. However, we think the central family along with the housemates will return. It only makes sense, no?
The official cast list is yet to be revealed. We anticipate that the majority of the main characters will return. Given that, Close Enough Season 3-star cast might comprise:
- J.G. Quintel as Josh
- Gabrielle Walsh as Emily
- James Adomian as Randy
- Kimiko Glenn as Bridgette
- Jessica DiCicco as Candice
- Jason Mantzoukas as Alex
- Danielle Brooks as Pearl
- Randy as James Adomian
- Timothy as John Early
Close Enough Season 3: Plot
Close Enough is an adult animated sitcom, which revolves around a couple, Josh and Emily, in their early thirties. They have a five-year-old daughter. The couple go through major relationship issues and decide they would opt for a divorce. These issues are mostly because of ageing, motherhood, friendship, and problems relating to their already divorced friends! With plenty of adult humour and mature jokes, every problem is illustrated fantastically in each of the episodes.
Season 3 is most likely to follow the same format as the previous two seasons. Although there have been no official announcements or updates made by the showrunners, we can anticipate the plot for the next season. Season 3 will continue from where season 2 left off. Though we might reckon small changes, most of the plot will be the same. Because Josh and Emily’s divorced friends stay with them, we are gonna experience loads of fun and engaging stories. Besides, in the next season, Josh might try and sort things out with Emily. The question is: will Emily understand? It’s no difficult tale to tell that season will be all the more enjoyable than the previous two seasons!
