Britannia is a historical fantasy drama series. It was created by Jez Butterworth, Tom Butterworth, and James Richardson. The show was co-produced between Sky and Amazon Prime Video. It premiered on Sky Atlantic in the UK beginning 18 January 2018 and on Amazon Prime Video in the US beginning 26 January 2018.
The second season of the series premiered on November 7, 2019. In June 2020, U.S. premium network Epix announced it would partner with Sky to produce the third series. Season 3 aired in the beginning of August 2, 2022. So far there are three seasons.

“Well, the Romans stayed [in Britain] for 400 hundred years so you’ve got a lot of material there and we’re only a couple of years into the invasion, so who knows?
“I think the Druids were wiped out in a big battle in maybe AD60, around 20 years after the invasion[…] so if I can keep hold of the [Druid] leadership I’ve got a couple of series left in me.”
Britannia season 4 release date

Britannia season 4 plot: What to expect?
Britannia season 3 ended on quite a cliffhanger. We saw Cait in Rome after she was betrayed by her mentor. Seemingly now Aulus’ wife. There had been plenty of revelations in the final few scenes. That said, we’ve got a lot coming should the show be renewed.
With quite an action taking place in Rome, season 4 is gonna be a banger. It would be a historically accurate move as Aulus did indeed return home after only governing Britain for a few years. Unfortunately, the makers haven’t revealed any concrete plot details.
However, rumors suggest Cait may instigate the downfall of Rome by introducing Christianity. We will also finally discover the Spear and release Lokka from her body.
