Conceived and produced by part-time lifeguard Ben Davies in alliance with executive producer Michael Cordell, “Bondi Rescue” is an Australian factual TV show that is publicized on Network 10. The show, which was launched in February 2006, revolves around the day-to-day lives and practices of the Waverley Council’s experienced lifeguards who oversee Bondi Beach. The show is narrated by Osher Günsberg.
“Bondi Rescue” which has been airing for more than a decade and has spawned a total of sixteen seasons so far is undeniably one of the most widespread programs on Australian reality television. The immense success of this factual TV show has gained a global audience, and it is being circulated in over a hundred countries.
The show is executive produced by Cordell along with Nick Murray, Ben Davies, and Ciaran Flannery, while serving as producers are Martin Baker, Nia Pericles, Mark Hooper, Nick Robinson, Rachale Davies, Liam Taylor, Madeleine Hetherton, Romy Page, Warwick Burton, Toni Malone, Ashley Davies, and Rick McPhee.

Will There Be a Season 17 of Bondi Rescue?
Network Ten has yet to officially commission “Bondi Rescue” for a 17th season. As of this writing, there is no air date planned for the next season. Nonetheless, this does not indicate the popular factual series has been axed.
The last episode aired on April 29, 2021, which means that it has now passed over a year since we last witnessed the show and not a single word has been heard from the showrunners nor has the network provided any information concerning a new season. Given the popularity of the show, we’re hopeful that “Bondi Rescue” will be back with the seventeenth season.
Bondi Rescue Season 17 Release Date
The first season of “Bondi Rescue” was released on February 6, 2006. The second season was launched on October 2, 2008. The third season was released on July 2, 2009. The fourth season premiered on June 3, 2010. The fifth season was broadcast on February 25, 2011. The sixth season was released on July 5, 2012. The seventh season aired on August 23, 2012. The eighth season premiered on June 28, 2013. The ninth season was launched on May 24, 2014. The tenth season came out on March 17, 2015. The eleventh season was released on March 15, 2016. The twelfth session was launched on September 29, 2016. The thirteenth season premiered on March 13, 2018. The fourteenth season aired on February 20, 2019. The fifteenth season was released on March 25, 2020. The sixteenth season came out on February 25, 2021.
So as mentioned earlier, season 17 of “Bondi Rescue” is not renewed yet but if it gets renewed, it is expected the new set of episodes to arrive sometime in 2023 at the earliest.
