With the recent premiere of The Conjuring 3, will the spin-off the Annabelle franchise releases its next movie? The Annabelle series started off with a low critical consensus but high profits. Fans loved this James Wan movie and the storyline. It has good scares and an intriguing plot.

When’s the release date of Annabelle 4?
Annabelle debuted in the year 2014. The prequel and sequel were released in the years 2017 and 2019 respectively. Considering this pattern, we can see that the films aren’t placed too far apart yet.
The Conjuring universe for now seems to have set its eyes on expanding, with ‘The Conjuring 3’, ‘The Crooked Man’ and ‘The Nun 2’, already in development along with several other spinoffs in the works.
However, ‘Annabelle’ has always played a dominant role. Thus, we can definitely expect the makers to push through and air the movie sooner. 2022 has almost ended, and so far, there haven’t been any formal updates.
Our bet is next year! If Annabelle has to return, we can perhaps expect the fourth movie to air by 2023. If the makers make any official revelations, we will update this space. Stay connected with us!
Annabelle 4 Cast
All the previous three Anabelle movies have had different casts. Owing to the fact that none of them have direct continuations of the other and are set in different times and settings (separated by years altogether), we can expect a similar pattern in season 4 as well.
We can, however, expect the common threads in all these movies – Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, and McKenna Grace as Ed, Lorraine and Judy Warren respectively to reprise their roles in Annabelle 4. If any other information comes out, we will update it here. Stay tuned!
What to expect from the plot of Annabelle part 4?
The Annabelle film series is somewhat similar to the “Conjuring” franchise. Annabelle Comes Home has a ton of callbacks to previous films in the shared horror universe and a lot of stuff that sets up potential future movies. It bestowed a succinct look at the Warrens’ locked-away room.
The room comprised all of these haunted and cursed artifacts. They use it in some sort of ritualistic practice. And so, they store the doll in there as a treasure trove. Looking at how much time the film chooses to spend on one supernatural entity over the other clearly states the studio’s intentions to introduce said entity in future films.
The makers once stated in an interview, “It is pretty obvious that we are soon going to get a ‘Ferryman’, ‘Hellhound’ or maybe even a ‘Samurai’ spinoff film in the near or far future, with the most emphasis on ‘The Ferryman’ the film spends considerable time on the development of his backstory and mythos.”
