Is the much awaited Sims 5 releasing anytime soon? It’s been almost 8 years since the Sims 4 was released, and no wonder fans are eager to find out the anticipated release date of the next installment.
Sims 5 Release Date and What We Know So Far
The exact release date is still unknown. The next installment of the worldwide popular life-simulation game is probably in the making but unfortunately, no official announcements have been made so far. The developers are tight-lipped about the next release though chances are that it might release at the end of 2022 at least that’s what we are hoping.
EA CEO Andrew Wilson and one of the developers mentioned in an interview that, “there are new generations of games” but this simply doesn’t mean it’s about the Sims 5.
Right now there are little to no details about the game nor its release date. In the meantime, EA play Live will be kicking off in July and who knows, the developers might reveal a thing or two about the Sims 5. Till then, sit back and relax while we wait for further announcements.

As per rumors and speculation Sims 5 will have an online version and on the official Reddit site, there was a discussion that the Sims will likely add multiplayer elements.
In January 2020, EA CEO Wilson said that the next game in The Sims sequel could feature single-player and multiplayer elements. He further added that there might be elements of The Sims online added to the next title.
