Austin Richard Post, better referred to as Post Malone, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer.
He debuted in the music industry in 2011 and acquired fame by his lead single White Iverson. Known for his diverse vocals and ability to blend pop, hip-hop, R&B, and trap genres, he rose to prominence and made big achievements in the American music industry.
But fellow Americans are curious people. When a person rises to fame, baseless rumours come as free deal. Despite his big achievements, fans have raised several questions about the rapper’s sexuality. Many believe he’s either gay or bisexual.
But what’s the reality – is Post Malone gay?
Is Post Malone really gay?
With all these questions thrown at the rapper’s face, he never truly spoke about his sexuality in public. He didn’t even try to back up these allegations, and that’s why I said, some really cool weirdo!
However, Post Malone has previously stated that he had a fiancé. Also, he’s been frequently photographed with several women in the past. So, maybe he’s straight? But again, he never seemed to have spoken about any of his past relationships with women. Besides, about the fiancé that he mentioned, he never said if that was a woman or a man. Confusion!
Initially, the rapper ignored all these rumours and controversies around his sexuality. However, in an interview, he addressed these gay rumours and confirmed that these are JUST RUMOURS.
Here’s what he said,
“People can say whatever they want, but they don’t know me. I’m not gay.”
Yep, he’s a straight heterosexual who loves women. Post Malone is not gay.

Where did these “Post Malone Gay Rumours” stem from?
Post Malone is a good artist; all his songs are interesting to listen to. These gay rumours, however, stemmed from the fact that he dresses in a certain way.
The rapper would wear a short skirt and earrings on occasion. Well, isn’t that strange because short skirts and earrings are for women?
Funny how we talk about feminism, gender equality, and “I identify as this and that,” raise eyebrows and criticise a man who wears a skirt, call him gay and whatnot!

Does Post Malone have a fiancé?
In May 2022, Post Malone announced that he and his girlfriend were expecting their first kid. Although many believe his fiancée is Jamie, he did not reveal their identity during the interview. But yes, he does have a fiancé.
In June 2022, while on The Howard Stern Show, Malone disclosed that he and his fiancée are engaged and have a daughter. He did not, however, disclose his daughter’s identity. Post Malone always keeps his private life out of the public’s eye.

Post Malone answered this question himself and said,
“This is a great question and I don’t feel like I get this question a lot. This song is about when I was a little boy and I had just moved out to L.A. and I was 18 and getting into trouble and everything. And you know, Whitney Houston, and Houston is associated with lean. And so I was saying, “My homies sip like Houston,” as in the lean. So yes, that’s what kind of this song was about; just locking myself in a dark place and doing bad things.”
