Will there be a season 2 of Normal People?
As of December 2022, the series Normal People is yet to be officially renewed for season 2. However, we expect it to be announced soon.
There is a good chance of the series receiving the greenlight. Chatting to Digital Spy and other media, quite a while ago now, about whether there were plans to reunite Daisy Edgar-Jones (Marianne) and Paul Mescal (Connell) for a second season, co-producer Ed Guiney said:
“Not in the short term. We’ve turned our attention – we’re adapting Conversations with Friends [Rooney’s debut novel] as a television series.”
Normal People season 2 release date
As aforesaid, the series is yet to be renewed for the second season. Hence, there’s no release date. The official release date of Normal People Season 2 hasn’t been declared yet. However, we speculate the show will air in 2023 or later.
