Blue Period is an anime series based on a manga of the same name. It was written and illustrated by Tsubasa Yamaguchi. The series follows Yatora Yaguchi. He’s that perfect high school student. Someone who appears to be damn active – however, feels lonely deep down. This series is about him discovering passion for art and making it his dream.

Though the show was loved internationally, it didn’t quite receive much applause in Japan itself. It failed to make the Netflix Japan top 10. Blue Period season 2 release date
As aforesaid, the show is yet to be renewed. And so, there’s no release date for now. Source material is not an issue as the manga is ongoing and the next volume is due in Jan 2022. Considering that studio Seven Arcs renews the anime in a month or two, we can expect the second season of Blue Period to air by the end of 2023 or later. Stay tuned for more updates!
