Massimo Ruggero, an Italian trader, is the New York London Investment Bank’s (NYL) Head of Trading. While Europe is experiencing a financial crisis, Massimo makes hundreds of millions of dollars for NYL through speculation. The gifted trader appears to be the front-runner for vice CEO since his mentor Dominic Morgan, the American CEO of NYL and the closest thing Massimo has ever had to a father, completely supports him. Dominic chooses the traditional banker Edward Stuart over Massimo when the latter is entangled in a sad controversy in which his divorced wife serves as an escort.
Devils’ storyline takes place in London in 2011. It concerns an Italian trader who serves as the trading department’s director at the New York London Investment Bank.
