Colony is a science fiction television series that made its debut in 2016 on US Network. Following its first premiere, the show dropped two more installments in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Revealing Colony’s Past Plot Twists
Colony is a futuristic series that follows the story of the Bowman family consisting of Will Bowman (matriarch), Katie Bowman ( his wife), Charlie ( their younger son), and Bram ( their elder son) amid an alien invasion, referred to as Hosts. The dystopia series portrays an organization, Transitional Authority imposing a military regime in the city. Following the Alien’s arrival, a colony ( boundary walls across the city) is formed and the occupation is set in place.
Furthermore, there are stringent measures to keep things under control. Some of them include restrictions on the movement of people, curfews with shoot-at-sight orders, electronic identity checks, and digital surveillance. The intervention results in the launch of a resistance movement. Will Bowman is forced to work for Redhat’s homeland security, and assist them in finding and obliterating the members opposing the Hosts and The Authority. Later he discovers that Katie, his wife, is a part of the Resistance movement. Season two marks the reunion of their lost son, Charlie with his parents and brother. The third part ended on a cliffhanger, leaving behind a trail of questions. Colony draws inspiration from history, so don’t be surprised if it brings back a hundred thousand stories of the past.

Colony Season 4 Is officially cancelled
While fans awaited Colony season 4, the news of the cancellation was a surprise. There are gossips that the drastic drop in the viewership led to this decision. While some speculations throw light on its increased production cost, which led to US Network making the big announcement. Yet Ryan Condal, the show’s executive producer, discloses the reasons behind it are a bit complicated.
Colony’s fourth season won’t happen. It still currently stands canceled by USA Network as the third season is the final outing of the series.
