L’Altro Film’s upcoming feature film ‘Milarepa’ is set in a post apocalyptic world and is said to star Caterina Murino and Rossy De Palma in significant roles. Milarepa will center on Mila, a 12 year old girl who loses her father to death and consequentially journeys towards redemption in hope of recovery from her past deeds. Thought the plot for the movie sounds as if the set is that of destruction and technological ruin resembling any modern dystopia, the setting is quite the opposite with the future being taken over by nature. Yes, Louis Nero’s upcoming feature film will encounter a world where nature overcomes technology and ancient settlements graces the surface of Earth. Sounds intriguing doesn’t it? ‘Milarepa’ deviates from typical post apocalyptic entertainers by bringing something that is never thought before into existence, a future governed by nature, not technology, not utopia, not extraterrestrial beings but Earth’s very own pristine nature.
