Do you love the popular south Korean drama Busted? As per some sources possibility of season 3 of the show is confusing. The show was first premiered in 2018 and achieved much popularity over the years. With two seasons, the series earned many fans following. Some sources have stated the series might make a comeback this year. Here is all about busted season 3.
What would be the release date of Busted Season 3?
The first season of Busted was released on May 4, 2018. The second season of the show was premiered on November 8, 2019. In February 2020, Netflix gave officially renewed it for a third season. However, there is no news on the release date. The third season was expected to be out by November this year. The filming for the season began in April and extended till early June. The release of the new season was postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Cast to be expected
The previous season of the Netflix original witnessed an all-Korean cast. The series was studded with famous faces of K-drama. The detectives and leading roles were played by reputed names from the Korean silver screen industry. The cast included Jae-Wook Ahn from First kiss fame, Jong-min Kim from Master Key, Kwang-soo Lee from Running man, Se-huh Oh from the boy band, Min-Young Park, Se-Jeong Kim, and eminent entertainer and comedian Jae-suk Yoo. Jae earned fame from Running man and also appeared in Psy’s Gangnam Style music video. Nae-sang Ahn played the primary role in the series. The original cast members returned for the second season. The second season missed the presence of Lee Kwang Soo.
Busted Season 3: Plot
The season follows the storyline of a group of accidental bumbling detectives who were originally celebrity sleuths. They learn to be part of an operation called project D. In the project, they are implanted with a chip containing famous detectives’ DNA throughout history. The group is led by a man known as K. They get hired by recruited as private detectives. In each episode, the group was assigned a new case in which they have to figure out what the mystery project D is about. Season 1 ended with the detectives receiving a message from K. The season followed the storyline of planning the murder, game party. K’s incepted on the final test and waits at a safe house in Incheon. The group received a shocking message from a recognizable voice that informs them about K’s kidnapping. Season 2 continued with the detectives’ storyline and their hunt to find out about project D is all about. The season ended with detectives on flower killer’s trail, finding a maze of clues from home to the secret lair. In between, they discover a shocking truth. What is the truth about and what adventures wait for the group would be revealed in season 3. The plot for season 3 has not yet been released; however, for lovers of the show, the group’s adventures await to greet them. Till the trailer gets released, the fans need to keep on guessing about the cast and the plot.
