Zeus, a pretty terrible dad, is a fan-favorite character! And why not? The new generation absolutely adores a bad dad. It ain’t an ick anymore – and the anime Blood of Zeus makes dad Zeus almost likable. Repeat, ALMOST.
But with all the nasty things that he’s done – boy, is he a menace! Like, turning into a swan and molesting people? What kind of a human does that? But for my defense, I say, at least he’s better than those guys in the Ancient Greek mythos-stories… and the audience says the same.

Will Blood of Zeus be renewed for season 2 or not?
Okay, bet you are not ready for this!! Blood of Zeus is indeed an incredibly fan-favorite anime series – but the makers and shakers at Netflix – have renewed Blood of Zeus for season 2!!
YASSS – Blood of Zeus has officially been renewed for season 2. But they have just announced the renewal. When is the release date for Blood of Zeus season two? Well, that’s under wraps as of now. While the makers have renewed the series, they are yet to announce the official release date for season 2. Once they do, we will update this space. Stay connected with us, until then!
What’s going to happen in season 2?
The previous season took full advantage of what’s come before, as per the show’s creators, Charley and Vlas Parlapanides. In an interview with Inverse, they stated how they are running hard at work on the new episodes. They said,
“Fundamentally, season 1 is about Heron and Seraphim, and their stories continue in season 2. But we have a 20-page outline for season 2, and it’s very much a story of Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon … things that happened in season 1 that are really set-ups for Season 2. We go back to the story of when the brothers divided the three realms of the world.”
