Supposedly starring Ana De Armas, Jude Law, Alicia Vikander and Daniel Brühl in the lead roles, ‘Origin of Species’ will narrate the events that take place in The Galapagos wherein an unexpected group get acquainted with their mutual distaste for civilization. However, though the scenic beauty of the landscape serves as a major distraction to this individually minded group, it harbors a fair share of threats, attacks and murder. Now, the group must ironically fight for survival as The Galapagos is anything but a location for a getaway.
Meet the Cast
Ana De Armas is a massively popular actress who is known for her roles in ‘Blonde’, ‘Blade Runner 2049’, ‘Knives Out’ and other hits. Jude Law is another established actor who is known for his performances in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film series (prequel to the ‘Harry Potter’ movies), ‘Sherlock Holmes’, ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’, ‘Enemy at the Gates’ and so on. Alicia Vikander is a renowned actress whose films include, ‘The Danish Girl’, ‘Tomb Raider’ and ‘The Light Between Oceans’. Daniel Brühl is a versatile actor whose popular films ‘All Quiet on the Western Front’, ‘Inglourious Basterds’ and ‘Captain America: Civil War’ among others are critically acclaimed hits. The actors’ ensemble couldn’t be more perfect for the plot of ‘Origin of Species’ as they are primarily known for their fictional and fantasy characters.
‘Origin of Species’ is set to be directed by Ron Howard, from the ‘The Andy Griffith Show’ and ‘Happy Days’ besides his directorials ‘Rush’ and ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ among others. Being taken up under Imagine Entertainment, ‘Origin of Species’ will include Brian Grazer (founder of Imagine Entertainment), Stuart Ford (AGC Studios) and Karen Lunder (president of Imagine Features) in the production team. The screenplay for the film will be produced by Noah Pink, a writer/ director who is known for his works, ‘Tetris’ and ‘Genius’.
With a stellar casting and an actively developing production, ‘Origin of Species’ will most likely commence its shooting this fall in Queensland. Viewers can expect stunning visuals of the Galapagos’ landscape, which is known for its wildlife and tropical scenery.
