James Smith’s upcoming project is supposedly a mystery thriller titled ‘Daggers Inn’ which could potentially star Amber Doig-Thorne. The film’s plot reportedly follows a charming young woman whose arrival onto a village is met with intrigue and suspicion. The complication in the plot arises when the woman begins to involve herself in their deepest secrets which culminates into a chain of events. Joining James Smith in the crew for this upcoming feature film is Caroline Spence who will be serving as its writer.
‘Daggers Inn’ to Commence its Filming Soon
As of now, this upcoming project appears to be in its pre- production stage, leading many to predict that ‘Daggers Inn’ will potentially commence its filming soon. James Smith who is an emerging writer, director and producer is primarily known for his thrillers. Some of his recent works include ‘Surveilled’ which premiered in 2021, ‘Best Geezer’ a 2023 dramedy and ‘Casting Kill’ which also premiered in 2023. The upcoming feature film will potentially be directed by James Smith with Raya Films taking up its development. Caroline Spence is also known as an actress and a producer. Several of the works she is associated with, in terms of production and acting, have also had James Smith as a part of the crew such as ‘Best Geezer’ which was co- written by the two artists. The upcoming project will possibly feature yet another collaboration between Caroline Spence and James Smith.
Amber Doig-Thorne recently starred in ‘Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey’ in the role of ‘Alice’. Several of Amber Doig-Thorne’s roles are in works belonging to the horror genre. Additionally, the actress has also starred in Bollywood taking up the role of ‘Dr. Julia Bulgaria’ in ‘Heropanti’ 2. In the upcoming project, Amber Doig-Thorne is rumored to don the role of ‘Bethany’. Other said cast additions to ‘Daggers Inn’ include Terry Bamberger, Emma Stannard, Martin W. Payne and Lutricia Norris.
