The Disastrous Life of Saiki K has a total of four seasons. The first season premiered on July 4th, 2016 followed by the second season on January 17th, 2018, and lastly, the third season on March 1, 2019, also available to stream to Netflix. What is this anime about?

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K or Saiki K follows a high schools name, Saiki– a psychic who was born with supernatural abilities like moving objects, teleportation, mind control, etc. Despite having such great abilities, he likes to lay low and wants to live a quiet and normal life but the unimaginable things happens and his life gets more disastrous.

Saiki is more of a quiet person and although he prefers to be alone he is often seen surrounded by his idiotic classmates who get involved in various troubles to which Saiki always comes to their rescue without them ever knowing and thus the befitting title ‘The Disastrous Life of Saiki.’

Saiki K Season 4 Release Date: When is it?

The finale episode of the previous season left us hanging with so many questions unanswered. Maybe the showrunners intentionally left it like that so the series may go beyond season 3? Given the massive popularity of the anime series, the future seems to be quite optimistic. Moreover, there’s enough room for more stories to put it together for Saiki K Season 4.

However, at the moment there are no official announcements regarding the season 4 nor its release date. But the probability for another season is extremely high.

“If fans want a fourth season and I have a good story, I’ll make a fourth season of Saiki K,” showrunner Shuichi Asou said on the Saiki K season 4 renewal.

While the cast and crew have not announced Saiki K Season 4 as of yet, we could still hope for a renewal. First, fans love the show and want more. Second and most importantly, the show’s creator, Shuichi Asou, is open to a fourth season.

Asou stated in a 2020 interview: “If fans want a fourth season and I have a good story, I’ll make a fourth season of Saiki K.”

There is a chance that the creators will introduce some new writers to come up with a whole new storyline for the anime or we could expect Shuichi Asō to stay put and continue the story himself and maybe publish more chapters for the Manga which will later be serialized.

Saiki K Season 4: Will it Return in 2023?

It has been a long and crucial wait for fans of this show as they look forward to a fourth season of Saiki K. Unfortunately, there has been no news concerning season 4 of the anime series. Originally, the anime series has released only two seasons in Japan so far but on Netflix, season 3 has been released consisting of just two episodes. But those two episodes were released as specials in Japan and not the actual third season. So yes, we could say that Netflix likes to complicate things. Hence, we doubt that a fourth season will be out this year.
