Chicago Fire is an American drama adventure comedy series that debuted on NBC on October 10, 2012. Created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, the series’s storyline follows the personal and professional lives of basic firefighters and the rescue operations of paramedics of the Chicago Fire Department at the fictional Firehouse 51. The series stars Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Monica Raymund, Lauren German, Charlie Barnett David Eigenberg, Teri Reeves, Eamonn Walker, Yuri Sardarov, Christian Stolte, Joe Minoso, Kara Killmer, Dora Madison Burge, Steven R. McQueen, Miranda Rae Mayo, Annie Ilonzeh, and Alberto Rosende as the star cast of the series.

Will there be Chicago Fire Season 12?
As of 2022, no official announcement on the twelfth season of Chicago Fire has been released by the makers yet.
The Series has a total of 222 episodes in eleven seasons. Since February 27, 2020, after the renewal of the ninth, tenth, and eleventh seasons, NBC has not released any official confirmation on the upcoming installment.

Chicago Fire Season 12 Release Date
The first season of Chicago which consisted of 24 episodes was released on October 10, 2012, and ended on May 22, 2013. The second season which consist of 22 episodes aired from September 24, 2013, to May 13, 2014. The third season which comprised 23 episodes was launched on September 23, 2014, and ended on May 12, 2015. The fourth season consisting of 23 episodes premiered on October 13, 2015, and ended on May 17, 2016. The fifth season consisting of 22 episodes was released on October 11, 2016, and ended on May 16, 2017. The sixth season which comprised 23 episodes was published on September 28, 2017, and ended on May 10, 2018. The seventh season consisted of 22 episodes, landed on September 26, 2018, and finished on May 22, 2019. The eighth season, which comprised 20 episodes, was launched on September 25, 2019, and ended on April 15, 2021. The ninth season consisting of 16 episodes aired from November 11, 2020, to May 26, 2021. The tenth season consisting of 22 episodes premiered on September 22, 2021, and completed on May 25, 2022. The eleventh season was released on September 21, 2022, and is still ongoing.
Once season 11 wraps we might get an update concerning the renewal status and it is expected that season 12 of Chicago Fire would be out sometime in 2023 at the earliest.
