“You Are Wanted” is a German drama television series directed by Matthias Schweighöfer, who also stars in the show. The series is created and penned by Hanno Hackfort, Richard Kropf, and Bob Konrad and produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Germany and Pantaléon Films.
“You Are Wanted” made its debut on Amazon and was the first-ever series in foreign language released by Amazon Video on March 17, 2017. The Amazon series has two seasons and 12 episodes in total with each season consisting of six episodes. The second season of the series aired on May 18, 2018. Currently, You Are Wanted has a rating of 6.1 out of 10 on IMDb and a score of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s been over two years since the second season aired and till now we haven’t heard anything from the showrunners and fans are curious to know if there’s more to it to look forward to. Amazon still hasn’t renewed or canceled the series yet. Can we expect the third season of You Are Wanted though? Maybe or maybe not. It’s solely upon Amazon but of course, many fans are anxiously waiting for the third season and it’d be great if Amazon renews it for another season run.

The Plot
Lukas Franke fell victim to a cyber-crime attack- his private data, net and including all his profiles on various social media platforms got hacked and all his data was altered implicating him as an explicit member of a terrorist group. Lukas, on the other hand, tries to prove his innocence. However, his family, pals and colleagues were suspicious of his innocence. Lukas attempts to learn about the person behind the cyber-attacks and he later discovers that there is another victim, Lena Arandt, and together they team up to unravel the circumstance. Soon after, they learn that someone from the German Federal Criminal Police was pulling the strings.
You Are Wanted season 3 release date: When is it?
Currently, You Are Wanted Season 3 is yet to be renewed so there’s no official release date as of now. You Are Wanted was expected to get renewed for its third season by the end of 2021 but quite surprisingly, that did not happen. So hopefully, the series receives the green signal from Amazon somewhere in 2022 followed by the production.
Furthermore, it’ll probably take at least 6 to 8 months for filming and production and we’d likely get to see the third season sometime in 2023. However, do note that this is all just based on our predictions. Henceforth, it’s best to wait for further official updates from the showrunners.
