Wakefield is an Australian drama TV series that premiered on ABC, on 2 April 2021. Created by Kristen Dunphy, the series is a psychological mystery revolving around the staff and patients who populate Ward C of a psychiatric hospital.
The series is produced by shay Spencer and Ally Henville alongside Chloe Rickard, Jason Burrows, and Kristen Dunphy in association with Jungle Entertainment and BBC Studios.

Coming back to the release date of the series, ABC so far hasn’t made it clear that there will be no season 2 for Wakefield. Thus, there’s no release date for season 2.
