Vinland Saga is a Japanese animation series adapted from the manga series composed and illustrated by Makoto Yukimura.
As of now, the Vinland Saga anime series has produced only one season which comprised twenty-four episodes in total that were launched from July 8, 2018, to December 30, 2019. The much-awaited second season is yet to be released.
The anime series did not release any movies or OVAs to watch but just the first season. Nonetheless, there are no official updates either regarding the second season of Vinland Saga but we’re optimistic that a new season will be announced soon.

As of March 2022, the Vinland Saga manga series is currently ongoing. So far, the manga series has 25 volumes– plenty enough for the makers to make two more seasons.
Author Makoto Yukimura also disclosed that the manga series is in its final arc.
Vinland Saga Season 2 Release Date: When Is It?
It’s confirmed a second season of Vinland Saga is officially happening, but the makers are yet to provide an official release date. It’s safe to assume that the new episodes will likely arrive in late 2022.

Sadly, it’s been reported that Wit studio won’t be working on Season 2 of Vinland Saga. A new studio, Kafka will animate the series while studio MAPPA will work with them. The staff who worked on the first season will also return. Fans should expect another incredible season.

Which Volumes Will Cover In Season 2 Of Vinland Saga?
The upcoming second season will begin with volume 9 and complete on volume 14 of the manga series which will cover the entire farm arc. The first season covered volume 1-8 of the manga series.
The first season had twenty-four episodes and it’s most likely that the second season will have the same number of episodes.

Plot details are not revealed yet and since we don’t want to spoil it you can start reading the manga series from volume 9 onwards. Because the second season will start from volume 9 and end on volume 14. The other good news is, there are enough materials to cover for the third season but it’s for the makers to decide.
