The wait of the fans finally came to an end with the airing of Venom two in September 2021. Although the film got a lukewarm review from the critics, there is no denying the gangbuster business of the Venom franchise.  Andy Serkis directed Venom: Let There be Carnage ended with several plot threads dangling, making fans crave for more. Since the second film has made a theatrical debut only recently, the threequel to Venom is not yet confirmed. However, the post-credit scenes of the follow-up hint at a third film. Who is in the Cast of Venom 3?

As of now, the cast of the untitled Venom three is under wraps. However, the return of Tomy Hardy for the third film is highly anticipated. Tom takes on the role of Eddie Brock and voices the anti-hero symbiote, Venom in the flick. Apart from this, it is impossible to neglect his efforts in story creation and production. Thus, Tom Hardy would be the first entry to Venom three. 

In an earlier interview, Michelle Williams expressed her desire to explore more of She-Venom. But unfortunately, the creators left that part of the story for a later point in time. Thus, it is safe to say that the third part will come with an opportunity to expand her character. In Venom two, Michelle is confined to her role as Anne Weying, the former fiancee of Brock. But surely the audience is dying to see her as She-Venom.

Dan Lewis seems like a predictable entry to the third part of Venom given that he and Anne make a solid pair together. Reid Scott will likely reprise his role as Dan Lewis. In addition to these, detective Mulligan survived his tragic fate and has taken up a fresh role in the Venom franchise. The finale indicates that Mulligan ( Stephen Graham) will play the character Toxic, although there is no word about the same. In the comic edition, Mulligan evolves into Toxic and serves as an antagonist in the next parts. With that in mind, Mulligan is entrusted with bigger responsibilities in the third chapter. 

Talking about the exists of the cast. 

It is unlikely that Woody Harrelson will make a comeback as Cletus Kasady/ Carnage after Venom polishes off his head in the climax. Also, we see no way in which the threequel will bring into the fold, Naomi Harris. Naomi’s character, Shriek was dead after the collapse of the cathedral. It is fair to assume that there will be new additions to the cast, though there are just sneak suspicions at this moment.

Venom 3: Release date

Disappointingly, there is no official release date for Venom three yet. So, the threequel is a long way off, and to the dismay of the fans, we are entirely clueless as to how long a wait this would be. Nonetheless, if Sony greenlit the film, Venom three may see the light of the day by 2023. 

Currently, Sony has two big-budget productions- Spider-Man: No Way Home and Morbius, in its 2021 December and early 2022 line-ups. Thus, Sony will likely release the official statement regarding Venom three, much later sometime in 2022. 

What to expect from the plot of Venom 3?

We have no specifics available relating to the storyline of Venom 3. But with Eddie and Venom being transported to another room or say another reality, that is the Marvel Cinematic Universe where they watch Johah Jameson’s making revelations about the identity of Spiderman/ Peter Parker. Additionally, the director of the sequel, Andy has confirmed that the Venom verse will feature Spiderman, even so, we are dubious about the way the face-off between Tom Holland and Tom Hardy will take place, or whether the multi-verse twist holds any relevance in the third part of Venom or not. Everything is simply conjectured at this point. Moreover, with the demise of the archenemy, Carnage, Toxic, played by Stephen Graham will potentially take the mantle of the adversary. Besides, there are speculations about the debut of Knull, who is behind the creations of symbiotes.
