Unauthorized Living is a Spanish series created by Aitor Gabilondo. The title in Spanish is “Vivir Sin Premios.” This series has a total of two seasons so far with 23 episodes overall. The series main stars are Claudia Traisac, Alex Gonzalez, and Jose Coronado. The first season premiered on September 24, 2018, on Telecinco. The episodes of the first season weren’t available until February 2020 for fans around the globe. The second season was released from January 13, 2020, to March 16, 2020. In this post, we have compiled all the details about the third season of Unauthorized Living release date and more.
About the show
The story follows Nemo Bandeira who wears a facade as a businessman but in reality, he is a drug lord. When he found out that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s illness just days before his 60th birthday, he keeps his illness a secret and begins to worry about his next successor.
Unauthorized Living Season 3: Release Date
As of now, there is no official release date for Unauthorised Living season 3 since it has not been renewed yet. Besides, it’s unlikely that a third season will even happen since the second season ended on a good note thus covering up every portion of the story with no room for further continuation. The series director also confirmed in an interview that the show was established on a book which very much concluded everything in the second season. So we highly doubt that there is more to the story to release a new season although it is quite possible if the show makers divert the story.
The cast
If the third season of Unauthorised Living happens we’ll see some of the old faces reprising their roles including José Coronado (as Nemo Bandeira), Álex González (as Mario Mendoza), Claudia Traisac (as Lara Balarés / Lara Bandeira), Luis Zahera (as Ferro), Pilar Castro (as Chon Moliner), Àlex Monner (as Carlos Bandeira), Giulia Charm (as Nina Bandeira), Unax Ugalde (as Malcolm Souza), Héctor Arteaga (as Empleado Opensea), Leonor Watling (as Berta Moliner), Ledicia Sola (as Elisa), Patrick Criado (as Daniel Arteaga), Édgar Vittorino (as Freddy), Daniel Currás (as Tigre), Xabier Deive (as Adolfo Monterroso), Ricardo Gómez and (as Alejandro), Mercedes Castro as Carmiña Paula Morado (as Inspector Alen), Javier Abad (as Nemo Joven), Andrew Joseph Perez (as Young Nemo), Julius Cotter (as Mr Anderson), Pol Monen (as Lara’s boyfriend).
Unauthorized Living Season 3: Plot
The series was based on a novel jotted down by Manuel Rivas. The story follows a businessman named Nemo who has Alzheimer’s disease. He kept a secret about his illness from his family. He then started thinking about who his next successor will be.
In the first season, the story main focus was on Bandeira as he tries to keep things a secret from his family as he finds different moves every single day to avoid his problems. Meanwhile, in the second season, Bandeira cousins show up and create trouble as they try to take away everything from him including his business and property. He goes through a great deal of suffering and violence to keep his business from falling into the wrong hands.
Elcomercio also reported that the series has thus concluded by explaining that there won’t be any more “delivery” of new episodes.
The series showrunner also said: “Except for a miracle, the series will end in the second round.”
The director of the Television channel to which the series airs was asked about of there’ll be any possible spin-off in the off, to which Manuel Villanueva responded:
“The truth is, no. This is a closed and very closed story. It is the story of a saga that has a very resounding ending. And from the beginning, it was thought to end there. Examining some characters you could see it. You cannot say that I will not drink from this water. But it doesn’t fit into our plans.”
As we can see that the second season has a very satisfying ending and at this point, a new season seems uncertain.
