Speaking on the Chyler joining ‘The Way Home’, Lisa Hamilton Daly, Crown Media Family Networks vice president of programming in an interview with Deadline stated, “Chyler Leigh and Andie MacDowell are the perfect mother-daughter pairing for our new series, The Way Home, We at Hallmark Channel cannot wait for her to grace our screens as a member of this cast.” He also added “Our viewers loved Andie MacDowell when she starred in Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove, our first original primetime series,”
Also, Laurie Ferneau, senior vice president, development, for Crown Media Family Networks, spoke about the series to Deadline when MacDowell’s The Way Home casting was announced. “We couldn’t be happier to welcome her home to Hallmark Channel and we know our fans will fall in love with her all over again.”

‘The Way Home’ is an upcoming American TV series that will probably premiere in 2023. Created by Hallmark, the series follows women from the Landry family. The new series is executive produced by Marly Reed and Arnie Zipursky for Neshama Entertainment; Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer and Fernando Szew for MarVista Entertainment and Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh.
