Netflix hit series The Glory has taken over the world by storm with the release of its second season just over two months after its first season release. Fans loved Song Hye-kyo in this drama and the badass character whom she portrayed as Moon Dong-eun. Now fans are dying to know if there are any chances of getting a third season. Penned by Kim Eun-sook and helmed by Ahn Gil-ho, The Glory is a South Korean revenge thriller streaming TV series developed for Netflix. It stars Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lim Ji-yeon, Yeom Hye-ran, Park Sung-hoon, and Jung Sung-il.
The series is executive produced by Kim Seon-tae, Kim Beom-rae, Kim Eun-sook, Ahn Gil-ho and produced by Yoon Ha-rim and Kim Young-kyu.
Is Season 3 of The Glory Renewed?
Currently, there has been no word about a season three of The Glory though fans around the world are craving a third season. The series as it stands is still to be renewed for a third outing. Based on how the second season ended, there is a possibility for a new season but we can’t be too sure for now as the showrunners are yet to make an official update.
The Glory Season 3 Premiere Date
Without a doubt, The Glory is one of the most popular series on Netflix right now and if you haven’t watched it yet, you’re missing out on a great show.
The first season was released on December 30, 2022. The second season was launched on March 10, 2022. According to reports, Both season one and two of The Glory were filmed back-to-back, so it didn’t take time for season 2 to arrive on the screens. However, season 3 would have to start from scratch as the story would have to be written and filmed, meaning fans would have to wait for a while to see the new season. So if renewed, we’re guessing a 2024 release for the next season of The Glory.
The Glory Season 3 Cast: Who Will Return?
If a third season of The Glory gets greenlit, we’d expect the two main characters Song Hye-kyo as Moon Dong-eun and Lee Do-hyun to return.
Whereas some of the characters who would likely be back to reprise their roles are Lim Ji-yeon as Park Yeon-jin as she is still alive. Yeom Hye-ran as Kang Hyeon-nam, Jung Sung-il as Ha Do-yeong, Cha Joo-young as Choi Hye-jeong, and Jeon Soo-ah as Ahn Jung-mi.
The Glory Plot Season 3
In the final moments of The Glory season 3, Moon Dong-eun and Cho Yeo-jeong were seen carrying out the plan to avenge the death of Yeo-jeon’s father who was killed by Kang Yeong-cheon.
The murderer Yeong-cheon who is at the prison will pay the price for what he has done as the two have now successfully got jobs at the murderer’s prison with Don-eun as an instructor and Yeo-Jeong as a doctor.
It would be interesting to see how the story unfolds from here and we also want to see a befitting end for Choi Hye-jeong and Lee Sa-ra.
