Premiered in 2019, The Boys Season-1 took the world by storm. Introducing a world of superheroes, the Amazon Prime series garnered the attention of people all over. The Sevens, comprising individuals with supernatural abilities, discharge their services for Vought International. Besides, there is another group, The Boys that abhor Seven and keep a close watch over them with an intent to unveil their malicious side to the public. Billy Butcher is the leader of The Boys while Homelander leads the Seven. Butcher has a conviction that the Homelander is involved in his spouse’s sudden disappearance. The Seven are forming deceptive plans to gain patronage from the government, however, The Boys have a different motive i.e. against Vought. It follows Annie January and Hughie Campbell who are a part of Sevens and The Boys respectively, being in an intimate relationship.
The Boys Season-2 witnesses the worst of the conflict between the two groups after a shocking revelation relating to Becca, Billy’s spouse. The series ends with twists and drama which leave the audience’s curiosity unquenched. It is time for the fans to rejoice as their wait comes to an end with the announcement of its 3rd season. According to the sources, the filming has already begun in Toronto, Canada. With the cast members making it official through their social media feed, we cannot keep our calm.
Do The Boys Season 3 have a release date?
Unfortunately, no. The release date has not been confirmed although filming commenced in January 2021, production couldn’t get underway due to COVID-19 related issues. But drawing hints from the last seasons that The Boys Season 3 will arrive in early 2022 or Mid 2022.
Be ready to see Antony Star, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Karen Fukuhara as Homelander, Queen Maeve, A-Train, Frenchie, and The Female respectively.
