“The Blacklist” is full of mind-boggling mysteries, splendid performances, fast-paced direction, and twist-filled scripts! With the arrival of the tenth edition in 2023, fans are already excited for season 11. So, will there be a season 11 of The Blacklist? Let’s see if the crime thriller series will be renewed for yet another season or not.
Will The Blacklist be renewed for season 11 or not?
Well, it’s kind of difficult to predict whether The Blacklist will return for season 11 or not. The tenth instalment of the series is yet to be released. Also, the makers have made no prior revelations as to how many more seasons there will be. So, as of now, your guess is as good as ours.
However, in a recent interview with Westchester County Tourism & Film, The Blacklist’s location manager Tom Scutro shared:
“It’s been a great run. It’s hard to believe this all started in 2013. I’ve worked on the show since we started, except for the pilot episode. We’re thrilled to be returning for a tenth season, which we’ll start filming after Labor Day.”
As per digitalspy, we could even end up seeing a Blacklist movie, whether the shift is successful or not.
“That construct of the windowing combined with the fact that streamers really want movies, movies are driving platforms, has, in my opinion, made the movie business economically better,” NBC CEO Jeff Shell said (via The Express).
“[NBCU is] making twice as many movies as our nearest competitors, and we’re buying all that content and moving it into Peacock to establish the streaming service.”
The Cast
For season 11, we expect the return of most of the cast members, if not all. However, there’s no official star cast list, as of yet.
We expect its star/executive producer James Spader to return as the criminal mastermind and analyst Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington. Other major characters, such as Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff), Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) and Dembe Zuma (Hisham Tawfiq) may also reprise their roles.
Two major cast members won’t be returning for season 10. Amir Arison, who debuted as FBI Special Agent Aram Mojtabai in the very first season of the show, won’t return. Also, Laura Sohn, who joined in season six as FBI agent Alina Park won’t reprise her role for season 10 (via Deadline).

Is “The Blacklist” worth watching?
Well, if crime drama is your cup of tea, then The Blacklist is definitely something that you’d wanna watch. In the last season, we saw a lot of conventional witnesses which made a lot of sense – and made the atmosphere really tense. Further, the series has managed to receive an impeccable response from audiences and critics alike.

How many episodes can we expect in season 11?
If the makers decide to follow a similar pattern, we can expect season 11 to have around 22 episodes. However, there hasn’t been an official update yet.
