The series follows the exploits of Clone Force 99, a group of faulty Clone Troopers who failed to rise up against the Jedi during Order 66 and are now on the run from the Empire. The Bad Batch takes on mercenary missions across the galaxy while also trying to evade the clutches of their Imperial creators.
The third season will also feature a fan-favorite character from “The Mandalorian,” Fennec Shand, who will be joining the regular cast of characters. As the series moves into its final season, fans can expect more action, humor, and heart as the story of the Bad Batch comes to a close.
“Fans have enthusiastically embraced the action and drama of ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch,’ and we are excited to see the Star Wars animated universe continue to expand on Disney+,” said James Waugh, executive producer of Lucasfilm Animation.
