It’s confirmed! The popular vampire anime series Strike the Blood is coming back with the fifth and final season which is officially titled “Strike the Blood Final” and will feature the main team and studio.
The fourth season animated by Studio Connect consisting of 12 OVAs was released on April 8, 2020, and concluded on June 30, 2021. Studio Connect is famously known for producing some of the popular animes like Chaos Dragon, Ange Vierge, Armed Girl’s Machiavellism, Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, Senryu Girl, The Honor Student at Magic High School, and Oresuki to name a few.
Hideyo Yamamoto will once again return to the director’s chair to helm the series’ fifth season for Studio Connect while Hiroyuki Yoshino will also return to pen the screenplays.

Release Date of Strike the Blood Season 5: When will it premiere?
The fifth season of Strike the Blood OVA series is officially called “Strike the Blood Final” which is scheduled to release from March 30, 2022, to June 29, 2022. The upcoming OVA will cover the whole volume 22 of the light novel series of the exact name.
The official declaration was made as part of the launch of the sixth and last OVA volume for the anime series fourth season, which was released in Japan on June 30, 2021.
How Many Episodes will the 5th Season of Strike the Blood Consists of?
The fifth season of Strike the Blood Season OVA episodes will be launched in both BluRay and DVD home video releases. The first volume of the OVA series will premiere on March 30, 2022 while the second volume will be launched on June 29, 2022.
On December 12, 2021, it was announced that the upcoming fifth and final season of the anime series will consist of four OVAs in total. Based on the light novel series and with only one chapter to cover which is volume 22 and the final book, it’s clear that the final season will only have four episodes.
