Shomin Sample Season 2: Release Date, Cast & Plot
Originally a light novel series written by Takatfumi Nanatsuki, Shomin Sample was made into a television adaption in 2015. Shemin Sample is an acronym for I Was Abducted by an Elite All-girls School as a Sample Commoner. The comedy harem series follows the story of a high schooler Kimito Kagurazaka, who is brought to an all-girls school, Seikain to teach the detached girls about the commoner’s life. Kimito is introduced to the girls as a homosexual with an obsession for muscles. However, none of it is true, still, Kimito is forced to accept his fate otherwise he has to pay a heavy price in the form of castration or exile. Later, he encounters Aika Tenbukashi, a shy and pretentious girl, who is keen to learn about the world outside. They develop a friendly bond that goes beyond the master-disciple relationship with Kimito as she experiences romantic emotions for him. Overall, the series offers light-hearted entertainment to the viewers.
Since the 12-episode harem series ended in 2015, there is no word from the creators about its return for a second installment. But the anime fans have hopes for a follow-up of the series. So, would installment two of Shomin Sample be out any time soon? To find it, read further

Sadly, nothing has been confirmed about Shomin Sample Season second’s premiere dates. But our best guess is that it would be out by late 2021. We are expecting that the series will follow the same 12 episodes format to keep the story going.

Shomin Sample: Plot
The book adaptation of the anime comprises 11 volumes. But the first installment has not covered the whole of the light book series. That implies that there is no scarcity of content for the next season. The sequel’s storyline could pick up from where it ended or may take a whole new story with good characterization. It is too soon to comment anything about it. We have to wait till the show gets a green signal for another chapter.
Shomin Sample: Cast details
There is a possibility that the original characters of the series would make a return for season two. Atsushi Tamaru will bring the character of Kimito Kagurazaka to life by giving his voice. Aika Tenubashi, the disciple of the Commoner Club, would be voiced by Yū Serizawa. Rika Tachibana will be the voice actor for Reiko Arisugawa, the girl with terrible singing skills. And other supporting voice actors will also join season two. However, the English dubbed version of the anime will feature different voice actors.
