The pain of waiting for the new season can be felt by many especially when it ended on a cliffhanger and that’s exactly what happened with this series. When Paramount+ launched School Spirits, it quickly became a sensation and fans are now eagerly awaiting for the return of season two.
Conceived by Megan Trinrud and Nate Trinrud, School Spirits is an American supernatural teen drama TV series that was released on Paramount+ on 9th March 2023. The series is an adaptation from the upcoming visual novel authored by the Trinruds and Maria Nguyen. It stars Peyton List, Kristian Flores, Milo Manheim, and Spencer Macpherson.
The series is executive produced by Oliver Goldstick along with Megan Trinrud and Nate Trinrud and Max Winkler. Serving as producers are Vicki Sotheran, Don Dunn, Natalia Castells-Esquivel, and Peyton List.
Is Season 2 of School Spirits Renewed?
As of now, Paramount+ has not renewed School Spirits for a second season. Given the cliffhanger in the first season’s finale, it is most likely that session two will be renewed.
Speaking with J-14, series executive producers Oliver Goldstick and Nate Trinrud shared their thoughts on the possibility of having a new season. Nate further revealed that the writing team has plenty of ideas about the potential season 2 of School Spirits. Nate says, “Oh, we got ’em. We have lots of thoughts.”
Oliver Goldstick adding, “Hopefully there will be a season two. We’re hoping for that. Cause we’ve got some wonderful places to take the show. ”
That said, now we only have to wait patiently for Paramount+ to greenlit the series.
School Spirits Season 2 Release Date: When is it?
Because the series has yet to be renewed, an official air date for season 2 of School Spirits is not announced. However, we’re positive that season 2 will be produced considering the first season which ended on a cliffhanger. So if we have to make a guess, a 2024 release is the most likely.
