Sailor Moon Eternal Part 3 release date?
Sailor Moon Eternal has been renewed for a third part and it’s expected to hit the big screens in the Summer of 2023! Fans are super excited about the news and are looking forward to the release of Sailor Moon Cosmos. Read on to know about the characters and plot.
Sailor Moon Eternal Part 3 Characters: Who’s going to be in it?
We expect the return of almost all the characters for the third part of Sailor Moon Eternal. The main protagonist is Usagi Tsukino, a fourteen-year girl who can transform into Sailor Moon. She is the Guardian of Love and Justice.
Next comes Mamoru Chiba, Usagi’s love interest. Mamoru was involved in a car accident when young and lost his memory. However, he shares a psychic connection with Usagi which allows him to be aware when she is in danger.
Mamoru then becomes Tuxedo Mask and jumps in to fight along with the other Sailor Guardians. Mamoru and Usagi share a very special bond.
Other characters include Luna, who is Sailor Moon’s cat advisor. Also, the members of the Sailor Guardians include Sailors Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, and Saturn. They are also joined by Chibiusa who is Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask’s future daughter.
Apart from them, there are multiple antagonistic characters too. These include the Dark Kingdom, the Black Moon Clan, the Death Busters, the Dead Moon Circus, and Shadow Galactica.
What to expect from the plot?
Sailor Moon Eternal part 3 will likely follow the Sailor Moon Crystal franchise, which is the final part. However, the story of the sequel has not been revealed yet.
Part two begins with Sailor Saturn returning five-year-old Hotaru Tomoe to his fifteen-year-old self. Wanting to show his appreciation, he then gives them Sailor Crystals. This helps the Sailors to become Super Sailors. And, they release Super Sailors Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus from PallaPalla’s vines.
Then, we get to see an action-packed fight scene between Super Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask, and Zirconia. They are heavily wounded by Zirconia and are barely able to escape alive. Then Usagi and Mamoru are rushed to Elysion to be healed.
Meanwhile, Super Sailor Chibi Moon and Super Sailor Saturn are trapped in the mirror of Queen Nehelenia by Zirconia. Helios helps them by sending Usagi Mamoru to the surface where they transform into Super Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask respectively. But Zirconia casts a hot suffocating fog around them that traps everyone. Helios sacrifices himself to free the others.
