Sabikui Bisco, an anime tv adaptation of Shinji Cobkubo’s light novels premiered its 12-episode season from 11 January to 22 March 2022. It focuses on Mushroom Keeper, Sabikui Bisco who is on a mission to find Rust-eater mushrooms to save Jabi and Pawoo from the wind-like plague that has swept across Japan. Bisco is joined in his search by Milo, a doctor in Imihama. The series is packed with action fight sequences blended with many adventures. With the airing of season one’s last episode, fans are desperately wondering whether there will be season two or not. At the moment, there is no update from crater or animation house about a possible season two of Sabikui Bisco. With that said, here’s everything you must know about Sabikui Bisco Season two.
Sabikui Bisco Season 2’s airing schedule
Creators have not issued any official date for the series’ return. With that, we have to consider its prior production schedule to surmise when we could get another season of the tv anime. Its first installment spent nearly a year at its production stage, with Covid restrictions delaying things. Thus, if we go by that format, we predict that season two’s release date would be in early 2024 ( if Covid is not a problem this time).
Sabikui Bisco is available to stream on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
Sabikui Bisco Season two’s possible plotline
Sabikui Bisco draws material content from its novel adaption. The first chapter incorporated characters and events up to 4 volumes. So, we still have adequate content for season two given the novel series consists of a total of 8 volumes. Additionally, season one’s ending has left enough room for a follow-up with Bisco and Milo in imminent danger. The finale saw Pawoo takes charge as the new Governor of Imihama after the group battles against Kurokawa while Bisco and Milo leave the region to save themselves from the new government’s persecution orders. But it seems that Bisco is in any immediate danger with its deteriorating health.
Season two will hopefully continue this story with challenges, fights, and adventures that match with its predecessor. With no official confirmation for season two, it is hard to fully predict its storyline.
Sabikui Bisco Season 2’s Cast Updates
Since things are still up in the air for season two, we have no update about its casting news. Despite that, we reckon that the series’ original cast may return for another season. With that, we expect fan-favorite characters, Bisco, Milo, Jabi, pawoo, and Tirol to lead the story in the next episodes. However, Josh Putnam’s character, Kurokawa got killed at the end. So, there is little possibility for Putnam’s return.
Let’s have a quick look at who is a likable return for season two of Sabikui Bisco.
- Kyle Igneczi is Bisco
- Brandon McInnis is Milo
- David Novinski is Jabi
- Anastasia Munoz as Pawoo
- Brittney Karbowski is Tirol
