Created by Chinaka Hodge, Ironheart is an upcoming American television series for the streaming service Disney+.
The series is based on the Marvel Comic Character Ironheart
by Brian Michael Bendis, Mike Deodato, Eve Ewing, and Kevin Libranda.
Ironheart will be based on the Marvel Comics character Riri Williams / Ironheart had a script written by Jada Rodriguez by July 2018, when it was listed on The Black List, although this did not materialize.
The production behind the series are Marvel Studios, Proximity Media, and 20th Television in association with Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Ryan Coogler, Zinzi Coogler,Sev Ohanian, and Chinaka Hodge.
Is Regan Aliyah actually joining the cast in Ironheart?
Yes, it has been confirmed by Deadline that “Regan Aliyah (XO, Kitty) has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series Ironheart in an undisclosed role.”
Ironheart Release date?
Ironheart was announced in December 2020 by the show’s creator. On the same day, Disney confirmed Thorne as the lead cast. Hodge was hired in April 2021, with additional castings revealed in February 2022. While Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes joined to direct in April 2022. The filming of the series started at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia by early June, and will also occur in Chicago, to be wrapped up by mid-October.
Ironheart has been greenlit by the makers. As per some sources, the action drama Marvel thriller superhuman series is is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in late 2023, and will consist of six episodes However, we do not know for sure when it will hit the networks precisely. The makers of the show have not revealed any official confirmation regarding the date of release, as of now. It will be part of Phase Five of the MCU.
Who’s going to be cast in Marvel’s Ironheart?
As of this writing, there have not been complete disclosures considering the star cast for Ironheart. The show creators haven’t released an official star cast list yet. However, we have a name which was recently announced by the show’s creator.
Here is the list of members who can appear in the upcoming edition: In the lead cast we will see Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams / Ironheart: A genius inventor who creates a suit of armor that rivals the armor of Tony Stark / Iron Man. Also, Lyric Ross as Williams’ best friend, Anthony Ramos, Harper Anthony, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Shea Couleé, Zoe Terakes, and Regan Aliyah have been cast in undisclosed roles.
