Overlord has risen to popularity as a hit isekai anime television series since it premiered in 2015. The series is based on the light novels written by Kugane Maruyama. So far, it has released its three seasons with its last episode airing in October 2018. Since then, fans are anxiously awaiting the release of Overlord season 4. Overlord Season 4’s release date: When it is getting launched?
Season four of the anime series has finally an airing date. It is scheduled to be out by July of 2022. And the anime film is also been announced, yet the specifics of its release are unknown as of now.
Overload’s last season had a three-month waiting period from its second installment, thus the wait for the fourth chapter may be too long for fans, but hopefully,, they will be waiting for it.
Its prior seasons were a 13-episode long, thus it is safe to assume that its next installment will follow the same episode count.
Overlord Season 4’s Casting details: Who is returning to the series?
To the fans’ delight, season two will have all the cast members of the series. Satoshi Hino will voice the series protagonist, Ainz Ooal Gown, the new emperor of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Yumi Hara will reprise her role as Albedo. Sumire Uesaka will be back to voice cold, little monster, Shalltear Bloodfallen. Kenta Miyake will bring Guardian Cocytus’s character to life again in Season 4. Emiri Katō and Yumi Uchiyama will voice the gender-bending twin Guardians of the sixth floor Aura and Mare. Masayuki Katou will be the voice of Demiurge.
Additionally, we expect new voice actors to join the cast, yet nothing is yet known about them.
Overlord Season 4’s plotline: What is it about?
There is no scarcity of content material for the future episodes of the series. With that, volumes 10 through 11 of the light novel series will expand into a season two. Season three’s end saw Ainz in his pursuit of power. It is expected that season four will continue this story with Ainz fighting wars to protect his Sorcerer Kingdom.
