Yes! The series received an early renewal which is quite rare. Netflix officially greenlit Outer Banks for a fourth run just ahead of the season three release.

In a statement, the giant streamer shared, “Season 4 details and additional information will be shared at a later time”.
Release Date For Season 4 of Outer Banks
In March 2023, it was reported that the streaming giant had set the production dates for season 4 of Outer Banks to start in late May 2023.
As per the latest production schedule by ProductionWeekly, the much anticipated fourth season of Outer Banks is all set to start rolling on May 30, 2023, and then go through till the end of 2023 with an estimated end date of December 15, 2023.
So based on that, fans would have to wait at least a year to see the new season. If we have to make a guess, an air date of somewhere in mid-2024 seems quite likely.

“I have some theories. I don’t want to ruin them, but I would love to see Cleo’s backstory. Like if a person came back from Cleo’s past to really explain some of her mannerisms. It’s the Outer Banks. Her mom died, her dad left, but any of these people could appear somehow,” Grant explained to Cosmopolitan.
