Open Your Eyes or Otwórz cozy is a Polish supernatural mystery thriller TV series built by Netflix, heavily inspired by the 2013 story book ‘Druga szansa’ written by Katarzyna Berenika Miszczuk.
The series is directed by Anna Jadowska, Adrian Panek and screenplay by Kasper Bajon, Igor Brejdygant, Milena Dutkowska, and Klara Kochanska. It stars Maria Wawreniuk and Ignacy Liss among many others.
Upon release, the series received positive reviews, and fans have since then been anxiously awaiting the return of the second season. But will Netflix renew the series for season 2? Let’s find out.
Open Your Eyes Season 2 Release Date: When is it?
The first season of Open Your Eyes was released on August 25, 2021, on Netflix. The season consisted of six episodes in total with a running time of 45 to 55 minutes long each.
As of August 2022, there’s been no concrete update from the streamer or the showrunners concerning a second season of Open Your Eyes. Nonetheless, the series is not even renewed yet even though it’s already a year since the first season came out. Given the popularity of season one, fans need not worry and it also looks like Netflix has a fondness for Polish content on its watch list. So it could be any moment before we hear any official updates.

Open Your Eyes Season 2 Plot
In the final moments of season one, Julia’s real name was revealed as Karolina who was badly injured in a car accident to the point of slipping into a comatose state for two weeks When she awoke from her comatose state, she finds out that she can no longer play the piano, and she also realizes that all the talents she possessed are being taken away from her and is given to Adam. Julia, in order to assist her friends for the very last time will go back to second chance.
Season 2 of Open Your Eyes will probably be about the techniques of giving talents from one person to the next. Additionally, the dummy that is being hidden deep down in the factory could also reveal its true objective. We can also expect to see a new antagonist in the next season.
