Straight Man is an Upcoming American drama series that is going to premiere sometime in 2023. Based on the novel of the same name by Richard Russo, the series follows “William Henry Devereaux, Jr. A born anarchist and partly in the fact that his department is more savagely divided than the Balkans.”
Are Olivia Scott Welch and Mireille Enos joining the Cast of ‘Straight Man’?
Panic star Olivia Scott Welch has been tapped as a lead opposite Bob Odenkirk and Mireille Enos in Straight Man, AMC’s series adaptation of Richard Russo’s novel, from former The Killing writer-producer Aaron Zelman and The Office alum Paul Lieberstein.
Speaking on the series, Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks said “The saying goes ‘the third times a charm,’ but when it comes to Bob Odenkirk on AMC, the first and second times were about as charming, captivating and viscerally entertaining as it gets.” Also, he added “As ‘Better Call Saul’ begins its epic sixth and final season, we could not be more excited by the prospect of keeping Bob at home on AMC and watching him breathe life into another nuanced, complicated and unforgettable character. The chance to collaborate once again with our partners at Sony Pictures Television and Mark Johnson’s Gran Via is even more icing on a very satisfying cake.”
Other Cast of ‘Straight Man’?
As of now, there’s been no confirmation on the cast except a few regarding the upcoming series, Straight Man. That said, it would be very early to predict the cast of the fourteenth chapter before any official updates are made.
