Netflix has added a new feature called Spatial Audio to its premium plan, providing subscribers with an immersive sound experience. This new feature enhances stereo audio on over 700 of the most popular TV shows and movies available on Netflix, giving users a cinematic sound experience. The Spatial Audio is available without any additional charges, and it can be streamed on all devices.
To access Spatial Audio, users must be subscribed to the Premium plan, but if you don’t have the premium plan, you can switch to it at any time. The Spatial Audio feature can be accessed by searching for “Spatial Audio” on the Netflix search bar or by looking for the Spatial Audio icon next to the title’s description. The feature is enabled automatically when watching a compatible TV show or movie using stereo audio.
However, it’s important to note that not all movies or TV seasons are available with Spatial Audio yet, but Netflix promises to continue adding support for more titles. If a title is not supported, it will play with standard stereo audio.
Listen to a demo of Spatial Audio on the Netflix blog and enjoy the enhanced audio experience on your favorite movies and TV shows.
Après la 4K HDR et le Dolby Atmos, nous vous présentons l'Audio Spatial.
C'est disponible dans le forfait Premium, sans frais supplémentaire, sur plus de 700 titres du catalogue.

What Is Audio Spatial?
Audio Spatial is a new audio experience technology that promises to provide an immersive audio experience for the listener. It is designed to create a three-dimensional soundscape, giving the illusion that the sound is coming from all around you, as opposed to just from the front or the sides. This technology is often used in virtual and augmented reality applications, where creating an immersive audio environment is essential. However, it’s now being incorporated into the video streaming industry as well, to provide a more engaging audio experience for viewers. The exact technical details of how Audio Spatial works can vary, but it generally involves the use of multiple speakers and advanced algorithms to create a surround sound-like experience.
