Monster Musume is one of the most popular comedy Japanese animated series. The show is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara based on Okayado’s manga of the exact name.
The show is a popular harem romantic anime based on a relationship between a human and a species known as “Iiminal’s.” It is set in a world where mythical creatures exist and is kept confidential by the Japanese government but shortly they are exposed. To live alongside humans, Iiminals started residing with humans as exchange students under the Interspecies Cultural Exchange program.
Monster Musume: Everyday life with monster girls (Japanese translation: Monsutā Musume no iru nichijō), the story revolves around a Japanese male student whose life turned upside down after he erroneously partook in Interspecies Cultural Exchange. Monster Musume 2 Release Date
The creators of Monster Musume have declared openly about the comeback of the new season but as of now, there are no official announcements of an air date. But according to rumours, the show was expected to be renewed by the end of 2021 but so far the show has neither been canceled nor renewed. So our best guess is that season 2 will probably arrive sometime in 2023.

The Manga series of the same name currently has published 16 volumes in total. Volume 17 is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2022.

Monster Musume Season 2 Plot: What will happen in the upcoming season?
The upcoming season will focus on Kimihito and his adventures. The manga is still ongoing and if you are a manga reader, you might already know what’s going to happen but let’s not spoil it for others let it remain a mystery, a curiosity.
However, the plot for the second season will follow according to the manga which is based on the daily activities of a high school student named Kimihito Kurusu and his non-human flatmates and his journey of choosing a bride among one of them will continue.
