Penned by Gazal Dhaliwal, “Mismatched” is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy-drama web series on Netflix. The series is heavily inspired by the 2017 novel When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. It was directed by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari and produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies. It stars Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, Rannvijay Singha, and Vidya Malvade in central roles.
The story revolves around Rishi, a hardcore romantic who firmly believes in traditional habits of dating, who falls in love with a gamer named Dimple and eventually wishes to wed her.

Is Mismatched Season 3 Renewed?
Yes, Mismatched has been officially renewed for a third run. Recently, Netflix India shared an announcement through a short video on YouTube stating that four dramas and one reality series have all been greenlit for a third season. The message along with the clip noted, “Psstttt…. We have an announcement. They say the third time’s a charm and we took it seriously! Your favorite shows like Mismatched, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, Delhi Crime, Kota Factory & SHE return for a much-awaited Season 3! Streaming soon, only on Netflix!”
Mismatched Season 3 Release Date
The first season of Mismatched was launched on November 20, 2020, on Netflix. Upon release, it received favorable reviews from audiences, and highly praised the great chemistry of the two main characters Saraf and Koli, and the performances of the rest of the cast, music, and viewership but received a harsh critique on the script and the direction. Nevertheless, the series was greenlit for a second season on the 3rd of March 2021. Season 2 was released on the giant streamer on October 14, 2022.
As of now, an exact air date for the third season has not been announced yet but it is expected to be out somewhere in 2023.

Mismatched Season 3 Plot
