Mike Judge (”Beavis and Butt-Head,” “King of the Hill,” and “Office Space”) and Zach Woods (”Silicon Valley,” “Avenue 5,” and “The Office”) will be seen next in the upcoming animated comedy show “In The Know.”
“In the Know” is the newest project in what has been an incredible year for Judge, who revitalized his beloved “Beavis and Butt-Head” for a new film and a new season for the show. He previously even revealed that even a live-action adaptation of the series “could still happen,” and he’s preparing an animated special for HBO Max network with Daniels and Sacha Baron Cohen.
The new adult animated comedy show now titled “In the Know” co-created by Mike Judge and Zach Woods, has been commissioned at Peacock. Judge and Woods will also lend their voices on the show. The show also reunites “Silicon Valley” creator Judge and star Woods and will be the platform’s first incursion into adult-oriented animation.
“In the Know” official description describes, quote, “Lauren Caspian is NPR’s third most popular host. He’s a well-meaning, hypocritical nimrod, just like you and me. He’s also a stop motion puppet. Each episode follows the making of an episode of Lauren’s show In the Know, in which Lauren conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests. Lauren collaborates with a diverse crew of NPR staff. They are also puppets and nimrods.”

Judge, who co-created the series with Woods, will both serve as executive producers alongside “The Office” creator Greg Daniels, Brandon Gardner, Dustin Davis on behalf of Bandera Entertainment. Bandera is an animation production company under Judge and Daniels and has numerous series in different phases of preparation, including Peacock’s “Best Buds”, Freeform “Praise Petey,” and “Chelm: The Smartest Place on Earth” at HBO Max.
