Marc Evan Jackson and Catherine Curtin have been cast in the upcoming comedy feature “The Disruptors,” in an undisclosed role.
The story follows Best friends Will Kerrigan (Grant O’Brien), a smooth-functioning ride-share driver, and Glenn Marnell (Ally Beardsley), a shut-in cracker, who spend their time scamming people for gift vouchers who ride Will’s vehicle. This furnishes them with a fairly satisfying life outside of the scheme, which is precisely where they believe they both belong. However, when their precarious system begins to fall apart, they’re abruptly in need of actual money.
After a shot at getting on legit ends in disgrace, they envision a treacherous scheme to scam notorious billionaire venture tycoon Bruce Marcus. But for this they will have to make a fake company in order to fool him once he decides to start investing in their fake company.
This introduces them to Bruce’s world of technology, capital, and ego, a place that Bruce completely dominates.

Adam Frucci will be directing and also penning the script for “The Disruptor”. The film will be produced by Rabia Sultana along with Aliethea D’Angelo as line producer. Cord Jefferson and Josh Ruben will executive produce the upcoming feature.
Marc Evan Jackson, 52, is an American comedian/actor. He is most recognized for his roles as Sparks Nevada in the “Thrilling Adventure Hour,” as Kevin Cozner in “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” (the actor also hosts a podcast based on the comedy series called “Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Podcast”), his role as Trevor Nelsson in “Parks and Recreation,” as Dr. Murphy in “22 Jump Street,” as Shawn in “The Good Place” (also serves as a host “The Good Place: The Podcast”), and as Bradford Buzzard in the Disney XD series “DuckTales.”
Catherine Curtin is an American actress who is known for her role as disciplinary officer Wanda Bell in the Netflix dramedy series “Orange Is the New Black” (2013–2019). Her other credits include “Insecure,” “Stranger Things”, and “Homeland.”
