Set to be directed by Shawn Levy and Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returning to pen the script, “Deadpool 3” seems to be heading in the right direction. But what about casting? Previously, Ryan Reynolds was the only cast to be confirmed, however, it’s now officially confirmed that Leslie Uggams have joined Reynolds in the upcoming Deadpool 3.
So now fans are wondering whether their favorite characters from the previous two movies will return as well, such as Domino (Zazie Beetz), Cable (Josh Brolin), and Vanessa (Morena Baccarin). Unfortunately, nothing has been confirmed yet but we definitely want them to return.
Also, it looks like Uggams is reprising her role as Blind AI for the third movie of Deadpool, as suggested based on her recent tweets and by Reynolds.
Uggams shared on Twitter to congratulate the actor and filmmaker Levy (who has been confirmed to be helming “Deadpool 3”) on their recently launched movie, “The Adam Project,” where the actress also mentioned about “Deadpool 3.”
She tweeted, “5 [stars] for this wonderful film! #Deadpool Ryan Reynolds has done it again, exploring the father/son relationship as a timeless force. There’s a lovely homage to Field Of Dreams too. Director Shawn Levy is now attached to the upcoming Deadpool 3, too. Should be great!”

Leslie Uggams portrayed Blind Al in the previous two Deadpool films. In the first film, they met face to face at the laundromat as Wade Wilson was washing his blood-drained attire. While on the hunt for Ajax, Wilson shifted in with Blind Al, and he later returned to her place to get his weapons, and when he was leaving, he informed her there’s “a stash of cocaine next to the cure for blindness.”
In the second movie, Deadpool went back to Blind Al’s house to take the cocaine next to the treatment for blindness and appeared again later in the film to heal after the fight with Juggernaut which saw him ripped in two where he had to regrow the bottom half of his body. Cable then paid him a visit and the two decided to develop an alliance to bring down Juggernaut.
Storyline details for “Deadpool 3” are not revealed and it doesn’t have an air date yet.
