Legends of Tomorrow, based on DC Comics, is one of The CW’s longest-running shows. Since its debut in 2016, the Arrowverse spin-off has provided unique adventures for six seasons, and those adventures will continue for another year.
Legends, which is about to start its seventh season, is currently the third-longest-running series set within the continuity established by Arrow, outlasting previous beloved entries Supergirl and Black Lightning (chose to call it quits in their sixth and fourth seasons, respectively). It is currently only one renewal away from tying Arrow and The Flash for the longest-running series (though that could change if The Flash gets renewed for a ninth season).
Season 7 of Legends of Tomorrow has been confirmed, but what new adventures await the crew of the Waverider when they return, and how will the cast be altered in the aftermath of the season 6 finale? The cast will mostly remain the same, but some members of the ensemble will take on new roles in Legends of Tomorrow season 7. Others will show up in a diminished capacity.
Fans are looking forward to the upcoming seventh season of Legends of Tomorrow and have high expectations after season 6 delivered one of the show’s most odd episodes yet. What problems will the crew of the Waverider face in season 7 of Legends of Tomorrow? Here’s all we know about when and how the program will return. What can we anticipate from it?
Below you’ll find all the latest information about Legends of Tomorrow season 7, including its release date on The CW, cast members, trailers, and more.
Release date of Legends of Tomorrow Season 7: When will it Premiere?
“Legends of Tomorrow” was not exempted from the delays that plagued many other productions during the last year and change, as were many others. The consequent time constraint has resulted in a compressed release schedule, with Season 6 showing from May to September 2021, with only a brief intermission to separate the season.
We highly suspect that the upcoming seventh season will be no different, with filming continuing even as the debut date for Season 7 has been released on October 13, 2021. In a departure from past seasons, new episodes of “Legends of Tomorrow” are being broadcasted on The CW channel on Sunday nights and will be accessible for streaming the following day on the network app.

The plot of Legends of Tomorrow Season 7: Expectations
Legends of Tomorrow season 7 will find the Legends confronting their toughest obstacle yet, navigating life in Prohibition-era America, after defeating the Legion of Doom, the armies of Hell, and the Fates themselves. The Legends’ time-ship, the Waverider, blew up after being buzzed by another time-ship that may have been a Loki-style time variant of the Waverider in the season 6 finale, “The Fungus Amongus,” which ended with the Legends’ time-ship, the Waverider, blowing up after being buzzed by another time-ship that may have been a Loki-style time variant of the Waverider. The Legends appear to have been stranded in 1925 Odessa, Texas, with none of the advanced future technology they had on the Waverider and no way of traveling across time.
