Created and penned by Busisiwe Ntintili and Bakang Sebatjane and directed by Scottnes L. Smith and Mandla Dube, ‘Jiva!’ is a South African drama TV series that debuted on June 24, 2021, on Netflix.
The official synopsis of Jiva! reads:
“A talented street dancer struggles while juggling the demands of a dead-end job, family responsibilities and a rocky love life. When she discovers a dance competition with a cash prize, she realizes that her moves could be the ticket out of her working-class neighbourhood in Durban. But first, she must overcome her fears, beat her rivals, and sort out the chaos that is her family.”

Will there be season 2 of ‘Jiva!’?
As of now, Netflix has not renewed the series for a second season yet although fans have been anxiously waiting for the next part.
As per speculations, Jiva’s next part is in development. However, it’s unclear how accurate this information is as no cast or crew has come forward to confirm it. The Plot Of ‘Jiva!’ Season 2: What to Expect?
In the first season, we witnessed a troubled teenager and how Ntombi overcame these obstacles and later went on to become a professional dancer taking part in a champion league competition.
If season 2 of ‘Jiva!’ happens, the series will once again consist of five or more episodes and focus on Ntombi exploring further about her career and her love for dancing. Of course, we expect to see more dramas and some fierce dance battles or competitions in the upcoming season.
