Jesse Lee Soffer has made his directorial debut with an upcoming episode of the police procedural Chicago PD. Soffer is known for portraying Will Munson on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. He returned to the set in Windy City to direct the episode after his departure from his role as Jay Halstead.
Chicago PD is an American police procedural drama television series created by Dick Wolf and Matt Olmstead. The show premiered on NBC on January 8, 2014. The series follows the Intelligence Unit of the 21st District of the Chicago Police Department as they pursue the perpetrators of the city’s major street offenses. The show stars Jason Beghe as Hank Voight, Jesse Lee Soffer as Jay Halstead, Tracy Spiridakos as Hailey Upton, Marina Squerciati as Kim Burgess, Patrick John Flueger as Adam Ruzek, LaRoyce Hawkins as Kevin Atwater and Amy Morton as Trudy Platt.
