Jane Seymour (The Kominsky Method, Wedding Crashers), Ed Speleers ( Outlander, Downton Abbey), and Ayesha Curry (About Last Night, A Black Lady Sketch Show) have been officially cast in the upcoming Lindsay Lohan starrer “Irish Wish.” However, it is not known what roles they’ll be playing as details are under wraps
The official logline reads: “When the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”
Janeen Damian, who is collaborating with Lindsey Lohan on the forthcoming Netflix romance comedy “Falling for Christmas,” is helming the film from a screenplay penned by Kirsten Hansen.
The film “Irish Wish” resumes a career revival for Lohan, who went on a lengthy hiatus in her acting career for about a decade after getting her major break from the films like “The Parent Trap,” “Freaky Friday” and “Mean Girls.” During Vogue’s Life in Looks video, she admitted, “I had so much fun coming to do this because I had such a different appreciation just from not filming in so long. I just was really excited to be there and really grateful and happy to be around everyone.”
A production of Producers: MPCA’s Brad Krevoy; Riviera Films’ Michael Damian. Serving as executive producers are Amanda Phillips, Kirsten Hansen, Jimmy Townsend and Vince Balzano.
