Into the Badlands is a science fiction martial arts drama series that’s set in a post-apocalyptic universe. The sci-fi series premiered on AMC – in Nov 2015. Well, did you watch Season 3, Episode 16 “Seven Strike as One”? If you did, you must have reckoned that the show came to a literal end after this episode. Now there isn’t much to build around the plot (considering the storyline ended with no unanswered questions), so what can we possibly say?

Into The Badlands Season 4: Release date?

The first season of this impeccable series premiered on November 15, 2015 – whereas the second series was released in 2017. Correspondingly, the third season was released just a year later in 2018. It’s been a good 3 years and there have been no official announcements or updates regarding the release of the fourth instalment.

While Into the Badlands Season 4 would’ve taken the audiences and critics into a far-reaching, better world, the show has (unfortunately) been cancelled! The news was made public after a painfully long silence from the officials of the show.

We get that it might seem frustrating to cancel such an epic show, the showrunners must have their own reasons. The last season aired in Nov 2015 on AMC, after which AMC announced the cancellation of the show on Feb 9, 2019. Thus, the third instalment is the finale season of the web series.

For the first season, the show was given a 54 per cent rating on rotten tomatoes – soon after, they released the second season in 2017. The second season was a major hit on rotten tomatoes with a 100 per cent rating.
